ABOUT MAINE LINES SKI FILM

Maine Lines follows the stories of female college athletes in their chosen field, whether that be park skiing, ski patrol, racing, or backcountry. Throughout the film, we will explore what it means to be a female skier in various skiing domains. Interviews, personal reflections, and shared experiences will provide a nuanced view of the unique challenges, triumphs, and community that define female skiing.

Whether on patrol, in the park, or in the backcountry, the film will capture the bonds that unite female skiers. Few ski movies are filmed on the East Coast. The uniqueness of our project lies in featuring an all-female team of riders and producers, showcasing East Coast skiing, and emphasizing our commitment as college students dedicated to transforming it into a professional film, making it truly special.
